Selectrucks is the Freightliner used truck center. In Kansas City, we are not affiliated with any dealership. We are wholly owned by Freightliner and concentrate our efforts strictly on used trucks. Shawn Baker

One of the things I am most impressed with Selectrucks is the attention to detail and emphasis placed on the road readiness of the trucks we offer for sale. The trucks we receive from Freightliner are chosen for the SelecTrucks centers based on certain criteria. They are fleet trucks that have been well maintained, over the road application, and high driver standards. Truck specs play a big part in the process. Most miles are driven in top gears and that results in less drive train wear. When we receive a truck, it is road tested and repairs needed are logged. It then has a very thorough through point inspection completed and all noted repairs are done. The truck is then run through our on-site detail shop. It is steamed, waxed, bumper painted and the interior is detailed. Tires are matched and/or replaced as needed. When the truck rolls out, it is road ready and very presentable. Shawn Baker 

Included in this packet is a picture of the Reconfigured Day Cab tractor. The process of taking an over the road fleet tractor and reconfiguring it into a day cab is very impressive. It is done in a Freightliner factory in Tooele, Utah in assembly line fashion. The brochure follows the process, explaining the step by step procedure. The end result is a reconditioned day cab tractor that’s life to date has been in an o-t-r fleet operation without the typical wear a factory built day cab will receive.   Shawn Baker
