This is a picture of one of the tire options. I can put these on and keep your down at $1,000. If you would like a closed side wall I can use these below, but your down payment will be $1,200. The reason for this is that the closed sidewalls are over amount they will allow me to put in the deal. Both tires are very good. It is your decision as to which one that you prefer.

Optimized Idle is a feature of the Detroit Diesel DDEC III and IV ECM's. When activated ,it uses existing DDEC data to continuously monitor engine temperature, battery voltage and can also monitor cab temperature. During periods when the vehicle is not moving, the system automatically starts and stops the engine as necessary to maintain the temperature and voltage within defined limits. When the engine is running, the idle RPM is selected to meet the needs of the situation.

Unnecessary idling increases fleet operating costs by lowering overall fuel economy, shortening maintenance intervals and reducing engine life through increased wear. DDC's patented DDEC Optimized Idle feature is designed to save you money by limiting engine idle time to those times that require it.

Optimized Idle provides significant cost savings. It will eliminate cold starts and warm up time, eliminates damaging deep discharge battery cycles, and reduces electrical system road calls. Electrical appliances such as refrigerator, TV, VCR, etc., can be used without worrying about dead batteries. And most of all an engine that idles only when needed saves on fuel.

Optimized Idle conservatively saves fleets over 50 million gallons of fuel per year industry wide. And that's just the fuel savings. When you also consider the additional benefits of reduced engine wear, extended oil-drain intervals and reduced road call costs for dead batteries its easy to see the value
